Supper!
No proper opportunities presented themselves today. So today's blip is my home cooked meal which, by the way, was very good even if I do say so myself!
I had thought about blipping a collage that G gave me some years ago which shows a lot of the family of all ages going back to Victorian times but it also has more modern photos of our children and I decided that it was perhaps not right without their permission.
One aspect of a blip journal is that it makes you think about your life! Today whilst at a friends house someone visited and mentioned that it was his birthday last Sunday and the last year of his 40's which made me think back to when I was that young. I won't bore you with the details but so much has changed - for the better I might add and although sometimes I moan and groan about life it is better for me than it was then for many reasons.
So when considering your blip of the day take the time to reflect what it is about 'a record of your life' and what it is all about.
Well that all seems a bit profound for me - think another glass of wine is called for!
PS Although the table looks dirty it is the one that many many years ago when a mere lad of 18 I built a new engine for my Morris 1000 on it and thus old oil stains. The table lived out in the shed and was not cared for as well as it should have been. I take better care of it now and so far so good Luce has not decided that it's legs might be tasty.....!
