Make a Wish

I wonder what a 4 year old girl would wish for. It was my granddaughter's 4th birthday today. Even though it was only one day after returning from my trip to Ireland and Belgium I was determined to make it special for her.

First, her favorite foods for dinner. Fried chicken, macaroni, broccoli (yes, she loves it) and a bowl of cut up strawberries and red grapes. I picked up some balloons and we got her a new bicycle and helmet. She was thrilled and it made my day. After dinner and testing her bicycle around the family room. We sang happy birthday and had ice cream cake.

I loved this shot of her blowing out the candles. We are having a family party to celebrate her birthday in two weeks. It's so hard to believe she is 4 already.
