Derwentwater

LPH Day 2 found us waking up to a fog/mist filled valley, though only a couple of early risers ventured out for pre-breakfast shots.

The weather forecast predicted rain by mid-afternoon, so we stayed fairly local, taking in Ashness Landing stage on the edge of Derwentwater, Ashness Bridge and surrounding woodland for lunch with views of the lake, and ending up at Nicol End Marina for tea, coffee and enormous scones. We had just finished roaming the marina when the rain came down, and by the time we got back to LPH it was pretty horrid: our timing couldn't have been better!
