Open All Hours
Back to work for me (Chris) whilst Annie very wisely took an extra day to complete her recovery from last weekend's adventure.
Tonight I took club members out for a night shoot in Aylesbury. The idea was to shoot in the urban environment using the available artificial light - a challenge a good few members were up for irrespective of previous experience shooting like this. Good to encourage the really adventurous to shoot fully manual and see how much control they can take. Shooting as a group gave added personal security at the same time giving members a chance to learn from each other whilst having the opportunity to experiment and actually shoot rather than just listen to someone presenting theory. Hopefully all that came along got something useful from it as we moved between various locations and subjects.
The blip is Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and the statue looking towards it is of the late Ronnie Barker who started his acting career in Aylesbury. More details of that here.
