After the race

A wet start to the day but the run was in the dry and even some sun.
A lovely course though the uphill field at the beginning was hard. I loved running over the small fell and along the lakeside - even the stony, tree-rooty mile.
The course was a bit longer and less uphill and I managed it slightly quicker than yesterday's.
Mr Rat and Elaine went round twice with no major mishaps and Elaine was 1st lady home so we stayed for the prizegiving and I was able to get a few photos.
Thai takeaway and champagne in the evening.
