Doorstep sunset
Suddenly the sky went red. That combined with an almost windless high tide produced today's blip of both colour and reflection. You can just see the sea encroaching into our garden bottom right - no wonder not much grows there.
Sadly there will be no more aerial photos after yesterday's experiment testing the waterproofness of the quadcopter and photos will remain resolutely local until the return of the car from its currently undiagnosed - but bound to be expensive - illness at the local garage.
That said there are worse places to be marooned. The short walk down to the plantation on the neighbouring croft revealed a flock of over 30 Bramblings and a couple of Redpoll.
