Water Damage

Came home tonight to get the rest of the packing done. Also needed to take the big ladders over to the flat to look at the water damage caused by the new people upstairs between the time we viewed the flat and we bought it.
Seems that, according to the previous owner, they have agreed liability. A quick look it seems that the lath and plaster has come away from the ceiling. There are also loose bit falling down behind the false wall. The cornicing is original Georgian as far as we know so it might have to be replaced. Not sure if they were expecting this amount of cost.
They are over from the Isle of Mann next week so we can see them and see how we go.
Rest of the night is going to be spent getting the clothes ready for Iceland and then stating to pack mu clothes for the move.
