Bridge over still waters

The visit to the dentist put a smile on my face in that it was one of those rare occasions when he found nothing to do except a scale and polish. I was very surprised that his bill for refixing a crown, the inspection and the 'detartrage' only came to €50, a large proportion of which I will be reimbursed with my European health card. I think I will end up paying less than in the UK. Later in the morning we went for coffee and cakes with friends who are returning to the UK for a bit. The park is now looking quite autumnal but at least the sun is still shining,
