Time passing

As forecast, the Atlantic low descended on us this morning so we had to come in from gardening. Rain will be good for the plants, but taking photos is more challenging so I'm resorting to a filter.

My subject is one of Christina's long case clocks - a French comtoise, with beautiful pendulum, which has been slowly ticking away the hours for 150 years - give or take a few pauses!
