Mono Monday - shadow

This is a shadow created with a Chinese cutout. I have had three of these cutouts sitting in an envelope for almost forty years; they are so flimsy that I have never been able to decide what to do with them. So it is nice to have found a use for one at last.

This probably also qualifies for the Indoors If Wet challenge. It was certainly a Heath Robinson set-up – the cutout attached to a piece of glass with bulldog clips (later Photoshopped out) and the torch from my iPhone to create a single source of light. I relied upon my trusty assistant to hold the glass and the torch while I snapped – I think Lawrence has learnt more than he ever wanted to know about photography since I started on Blipfoto!
