New Glasses

I know "shabby chic" is all the rage, well at least it still is in Monrovia, but today I decided I was sick of having no everyday glasses that matched, so splashed out $7.99 on a box of 6 heavy duty wine glasses. Got to love TJ Maxx!

Tonight was their inaugural dinner, celebrated with a couple of glasses of the nice spanish rose, pictured, and roast chicken, roast potatoes, mushroom shallott gravy and fresh peas, (well they were fresh when we bought them in Trader Joes, before they languished forgotten in the fridge for ten days!).

For those of you that thought it was the other sort of glasses.... I have to wait another week or so for those, in the meantime I'm still Mr Magoo!
