I've Started And I've Finished!

I used to spend a lot of time knitting and sewing, but once I had the kids, I just never had time to do it any more. I think that other than the annual guy I made for bonfire night, the last things I made were Christmas stockings for the pair of them.

Last weekI found this kit for a cheesy cross stitch Christmas ornament in the back of one of the kitchen drawers. I gave it a go and voila here's the result. Not bad, except I could have centred it a bit better.

Perhaps now I'll have a go at finishing Christmas stocking number 3 that I don't even remember starting, but found yesterday when I was rummaging around for a cushion tapestry kit that I vaguely remembered seeing years ago when I cleared out one of the basement closets!
