Autumn Stream

Out for a local walk today we discovered a new path taking us down into the bottom of the valley, across the stream/river on a bridge and up the other side of the valley. When you've lived somewhere 25 years it's a bit of a surprise to discover a new path!
This was the view from the bridge looking upstream.
Autumn suddenly seems fairly advanced, though the very low levels of water in the river reflect the lack of rainfall in the last few weeks.
