Therisso

Out with friends old and new - they took me to the village Therisso where Elevtherios Benizelos was born and raised; he became Greece's first PM after the Big War (WW I ) the land and islands finally reunited after 100 years of revolt against the Turkish Occupation of centuries - Rhodes became Greek again after WW II.

We did not speak of those historic data but about jobs and jobseeking and new taxcuts and the good food we enjoyed togehter and so on ~ a treat for a change in troubled times
