Grey Wagtail

I was going to blip a photo of a garden tree which I don't know the name of which has turned beautiful burnished autumn colours but perhaps tomorrow.

Instead I decided on this Grey Wagtail on the River Sett at Hayfield in sight of Kinder Low End. A short walk at Hayfield from the famous trespass carpark at Hayfield was quiet for birds until I stopped by the river to watch the patterns the water was making over the rocks and falling leaves. This Grey Wagtail was sitting so quiet and still but he was in a dark spot so I'm pleased how this photo turned out. I didn't do very much fiddling with it just a touch structure and brightness.
