Hail..

C phoned last night to ask if I could take her down to the shop today. So we arranged a sensible time, 11 o'clock, but when 11 o'clock came it was throwing it down. Black skies, heavy rain (4 mm in around 10 minutes), and hail. It bounced off the road, and there were torrents running outside the house. A few minutes later, and the sun was out again, and it's been lovely since, but colder.. This is what was left when I got back a half hour later..

Been tidying up today because M is coming to dog sit Tanni, while we go to Inverness to see 10CC tomorrow. I know, the house "should" be tidy all the time.. But a thorough clean now and again doesn't hurt. A sort of autumn clean!!

Had a few drinks last night, but glad I'm not in R's head today. I think he enjoyed himself..

Quite happy today, my teams won, Liverpool beat WBA, Gloucester thrashed Leicester (always a needle match), and now waiting for the ICT result against local neighbours Ross County playing tomorrow. We'll be driving by just after the end of the game..
