Fall flowers

Finally pulled out the dry, dismal, oh let's be honest dead remains of the spring blossoms - which never really bloomed to begin with, and planted some cheerful fall flowers.

It was a beautiful, sunny day. The boys and I had breakfast together after the youngest biked to the bakery. Then we ran errands together - taking away all the recycling and the kids' outgrown clothes and doing some shopping.

Tonight my older son is babysitting for friends, so youngest & I are enjoying mommy-son date night :)
