Webs on the Duck Pond

Mixed bag of a day. Early coffee with a friend (I told you it was one of those weeks!) then popped in to Adam's school for assembly. On Fridays it's all about celebrating achievements. The Head Mistress issues Well Done cards to those who have earned them, and they can be for anything from a good piece of work to being polite. As it was Poetry Day this week each class read out a chosen poem. It was a lovely half hour.

I had to run in to Basingstoke to buy some bits for Adam's Christmas shoe box. It was another lovely afternoon, so I went for a little walk to practice my new technique. I still feel a bit of a plonker, but hopefully it will get better!

Indian takeaway and James Bond for tea!
