Pink

Got up early (not THAT early! but early for me…) to take our friends to the marina to catch the ferry. So I couldn’t resist this pink color at 7:14AM after the sunrise looking in the same direction (NW) from the deck as last night’s blip which was a bit after sundown. It looks so inviting to be out there in a rowing boat, doesn’t it? -but alas, that’s not happening….Am posting early as we are getting ready to leave and won’t be back in Seattle til late.

Report: some very healthy looking sea stars were seen near our dock -more than I’ve seen for at least 6 months!….but the tide was not low enough (except in the middle of the night) to go check our regular spot that we are monitoring —-next time, I hope.

So much for the wonderful gourmet interlude here (thank you, R and D!! loved it, and our visit!) ....now it’s back to mac ’n cheese and salmon burgers.. :-)
