Crowd pleasers

My son Peter and his partner Debbie are having a big house warming party tomorrow. They asked me to do some sweet things. I've made Chocolate Guinness Cake, Lemon Polenta Cake and a big tray of Scottish Tablet. Basic crowd pleasers.
(Even though I have made Chocolate Guinness Cake many times when I read the ingredients I get a shock. Heart attack on a plate!)
