Money grows on....?

Irises!? I was really taken with these seeds as I was weeding around the irises at the back of the pond today. They look like little coins!
Russet had another trip to the vet this afternoon. She has been scratching and licking her feet and legs, and the fur is looking a bit thin in places. The vet said that they are getting 3 or 4 dogs a day with these symptoms, although they are all free of parasites.
A change of food may be useful. But meanwhile some tiny white pills might do the trick.
Is it the weather? The grasses? The pollen? Who knows?!
