It was muggy and damp out this morning, and this green lichen was growing on a piece of fallen log. Apparently lichens can survive in the most extreme environments where neither plants nor fungi can exist, the extremes being the Antarctic ice cap to intense heat !
Blipping can lead to learning new things!
Shopping today for my little grandson in London who will be 2 on Saturday. Dinosaurs and diggers are in favour at the moment!
