Homemade grapes

When we moved in, we inherited a grape vine in the greenhouse. Over winter it actually looked dead and so I was surprised when it started shooting out green tendrils in the spring. Before it hibernates for another winter it has given us some really lovely bunches of grapes that are just ripe now. It is also poking out through the greenhouse roof! So we will give it a good haircut before next spring and hope that it provides us with plenty more grapes in the future.

Another day of burning stuff in the garden...almost run out of stuff to burn now :(

This evening we have the company of Mumpy & Pawpee (and Evie the Wonderdog) for dinner and wine. It's always a good evening with them.
