Sea Urchin..

is what this dahlia reminds me of..

Just couldn't resist buying some more of these explosive dahlias in the local shop for the weekend. Soon the weather will close in and the blooms will be over.. so I must make the most of having them around.

Tomorrow there is a village Bake Off event where entries will be judged and for my sins I have entered for 'large cake' 24 biscuits and best village photo..not a clue how it will pan out but at the end the cakes etc will be put up for auction to raise money for a local charity.. should be a fun way to spend a wet afternoon!
