Watching.

We stood watching this Heron for a wee while on our morning walk today. He was obviously watching too but didn't make a move whilst we were there. His attention seemed to be in the reeds just to the left of this shot.

I like his reflection in the water of the canal.

There were lots of reflections as it was a very still morning and quite warm compared to yesterday's chilly start. The trees weren't quite colourful enough though for them to make a really good shot. Good to make the most of this good weather, the forecast is for change at the weekend.

This is on a stretch of the Leeds - Liverpool canal walking towards Saltaire. We returned via Roberts Park along the riverside making a nice circuit of about 3 miles.

Great start to Friday. Out this afternoon so posting early and then it is the second night of our village Players show, 'Allo 'Allo. The audience loved it last night despite being low in number. It will be fuller tonight and sold out on Saturday. All go!
