Perfect October day.

I walked to the next village this morning with Wendles56 and CorinthianColumn in the most perfect weather for early October.

This is the view looking back. In the distance you can just make out the brown of the moors which we skirted from the top of our village ( the brown is the bracken and heather which have taken on their Autumn colour).

We then crossed the fields bordered by these wonderful Yorkshire stone walls. Our destination was the wool and outdoor clothing mill where we treated ourselves to tea and toasted tea cakes before walking back with Wendles wool supplies well replenished.

Super way to spen a morning in good company, great scenery and amazing weather.
