Introducing...

Gymbo. He's is a very special clown...and I keep him for very special reasons to do with my Jessi.

I got the idea to blip Gymbo when I heard a story about a father who traveled a lot. He always took his son's Woody doll (of Toy Story fame), shot photos of Woody in all the places that he visited, and sent them to his son while he was gone. (As urban legend goes, Woody's six-shooter was confiscated by the TSA one day at the airport, which is the only reason I heard the story, but I digress.)

At the time I thought, what a great idea for emergency or travel blips, after all, Gymbo goes with me when I travel and it seems I'm frequently in need of an emergency blip. And considering the fact that my pets are all very much like their mistress - UNphotogenic, I need a 'go-to' for emergencies.

And now that I'm starting over on my 365 count, I want to put more emphasis on the journaling aspects of blipfoto and document more of the bits and pieces of our daily life. Updating our bedroom (hence, the painting of the doors) is pretty much what's going on in my life right now, and wouldn't a painted door and a can of paint have been oh-so-boring without Gymbo?
