Machinery At Da Kirk
A fairly windy day but no complaints as the sun has been shining all day, warm out of the wind too :)
A fine day for a day off work :) I was up early and got a load of washing out on line line. Mam needed a lift to the Tingwall airport for 9am, she's off to Skerries for the night. Since I was heading west, I decided to continue west and headed to various places for walks with Sammy dog. First we stopped at Browland for walk, then to Mid Waas (Walls) and then off to Annifirth and the Dale of Waas.
The afternoon has been a bit more lazy with a few walks around Cunningsburgh and looking to mam's dogs.
My boss is still off with a hurt ankle and having to cover in the pub again tonight.
The old abandoned kirk at Mid Waas is an interesting place for a look. The old hymn books, kettles and various other bits are all still inside, along with the pulpit and pews. This is a look towards the kirk with old abandoned croft machinery outside.
