Little Spindle Tree...
Everyone who sees this little tree in our garden comments on how beautiful it is, and it is. Especially now as all that's left on it's branches are its fruits (poisonous). I like that it's at its most beautiful just before it dies down for the winter.
It's proper name is Euonymus europaeus 'Red Cascade'. Another tree that will have to be re-homed if the building work goes ahead.
More productive day here today. Tesco delivery, menus planned for the weekend when David's up north, Sunday lunch arranged with friends, girls night in arranged for Saturday, eye test done, central heating fixed, holiday 2015 almost booked and Alan's pal Andrew coming for a sleepover and belated birthday celebration (his) a week on Sunday. Phew!
Just need to do some bulk cooking and baking for the freezer and a mountain of ironing to see us through my hand op. That will be tackled in stages over the coming days.
Cannot believe this is the 2nd of October! Where is the time going???
Oh heck, just remembered I was going to write my Christmas cards before I have my op, just incase something goes terribly wrong and I end up with a paralysed hand (over dramatic, who moi? ;-)). Hmmm....not sure I'll have time to do that!
For those lovely blippers still keeping up with me despite my complete lack of commenting in return (apologies, I do hope to get some blip time over the next few days) my back blips start HERE. :-)) xx
