Fairy fungi

This morning I was delighted to see these fungi growing down near the gate.
They have sprung up in some woody compost put down near our new pyracanthas.
Last night I was unable to upload this photograph as the Blip website seemed to be having problems! It was impossible to comment on other people's journals and in the end even the thumbnails were not visible!! I wonder if anyone else has experienced these problems?
