I'm so glad that this one is made of brass - later versions tended to be in aluminium which was new & trendy but in my opinion rather dead. Brass lives OK?

I love the enthusiasm, the virtuosity & the confidence that filled that complicated space. Given a billion years, nature might have done a better job - pfffff - life's too bleedin' short innit?
