The Lakes

A reasonable journey home, which I managed to sleep most of the flight to Heathrow. Seemingly there was turbulance throw the night but I was out of it.

Eco gran and mum headed off to the toilet during the night and returned to a still sleeping Eco daughter who had now riggled under the arm rests and was taking up all 3 seats, she is so restless in her sleep, they managed to reclaim their seats without wakening her.

In terminal 5 I was swabbed for explosives and tested, I asked what they do when positive no answer. Generally the security has been ok and we have passed though fairly quickly. In my on way I wanted to question the shoes checking as the last attempt on an airline was the underpants bomber, but I thought better of it.

A beautiful but cold day back in the UK. We then headed off up to Edinburgh with nice views out of the windows.

Back on home ground the only challenge left was to find the car in the long stay, got the wrong bus stop but eventually found it and scrapped the ice of the windscreen. Eco gran dropped off and back home to unpack and try to get back to UK time. Eco mum failed and fell asleep at 12.30, Eco daughter lasted until 8.30 and I manged until 9.00 before heading to bed.Eco son strolled back from his pals at 10.15 as the last man standing.

Thanks sis fro a great holiday.
