'Flintstone Cottage'
Tonight when I went to my Line dance class I took my camera, last week when I left class the church opposite was illuminated..so I thought that could be a Blip. Well, tonight the Church was in darkness. Opposite is this row of terraced Flint Cottages..I think they are lovely!
Most of the older houses in the village of Willingdon are in Church Street where flint has been used quite extensively. This terrace has three types of flint facing...pebbles, random and square. The date 1857 is carved there and they have a look of Almshouses.
