'Biggles'

Another beautiful September day!

Looking at this Bee reminded me of the fictional pilot and adventurer, Biggles..in his little leather flying helmet and goggles. Written by W.E.Johns who lived from 1893 - 1968.

The weather is affecting the garden..the Roses are flowering again..also the Ceanothus which is pretty weird....still plenty of Bees around

It's Michaelmas Day....love this Michaelmas Daisy..though they seem to be called Asters now...I much prefer the original name.
