Does anyone else apart from me even remember what a Husky was? A blend of Starsky and Hutch, perhaps?

I pass by this pet shop every day. The dog in his gilet never fails to amuse me. The writer Alexander McCall-Smith would have fun with the image, I feel sure.

Emergency meeting of the WEA committee tonight. There's trouble, and mutiny, brewing at our branch.

In other news, I finally got paid today by an organisation that had owed me for six weeks! Now I can start paying some bills. Woo-hoo!
