Japanese Garden

Visited Portland's Japanese Garden today - it's beautiful! The former Ambassador of Japan to the United States called it "the most beautiful and authentic Japanese garden in the world outside of Japan". It encompasses 5.5 acres with five separate garden styles.

We spent a couple hours walking the grounds. Good exercise, which was needed because the rest of our day consisted of eating & drinking almost to excess :). Oh well, its vacation after all!
