Blue gentians for my mother

With a perfect weather forecast we set off up to the highest viewpoint of the region: Corvatsch. The views did not disappoint and there was an inversion to the west, which made everything more magical. There were marmots, butterflies and gentians by the path as we walked across to the Fuorcla Surlej hut. The views of the glaciers were breathtaking, but that might have been something to do with the altitude!
