Finding a new family routine

Today we had a quiet day at home so we could start to settle into a new routine, now that we are a family of four. LJ was pretty good over night and it was great to be back in my own bed after a couple of disturbed nights in hospital.

LJ and I had a visit from the midwife to check that we were ok and that there were no concerns, problems or questions after leaving the hospital.

S2 and CJ spent the morning playing with the trains and the duplo. However, by the afternoon they definitely needed some quiet time, so they moved to the couch to watch a movie together.

I came in to find them both sitting there - totally focused on their screens... I'm not sure how the negotiations went for who would use what laptop - but I think CJ won!

CJ is doing really well in his role of big brother. He has given LJ lots of cuddles and makes sure that Wellington (LJ's soft toy) isn't far away!

This evening we had a visit from M&S who were back in Edinburgh for the night! It was lovely catching up with them mid trip and they got to have lots of cuddled of LJ!
