First "report" card

Today was a big day for CJ - it was his first settling in day at nursery.

When we arrived, he walked happily up the path and stood the door, waiting to be let in. Once in he knew where to head and was soon busy playing with all the toys - he wasn't that worried when I left. I walked out, without my little shadow - more upset at the situation than him.

I rang to check on him an hour later - there had been no tears and he was busy playing.

When I arrived to pick him up, he was eating lunch - well he tasting lunch as was upset about being in the highchair and wouldn't eat.

His first "school" report was then handed to me - some pictures of what he had done and some comments. He was his normal self, into everything, hiding toys in cupboards and climbing everything.

I am so happy that his first settling in session has gone so well, but a small part of me hopes he missed me just s little!
