New lamps from old

The gov wanted a table/bedside light for the trailer tent but because we occasionally go on sites without an electric hook up it had to be 12volt.
Found the company I bought the LED lamps for the boat from did a 15 mm bayonet to BC22 (normal UK mains lamp) adaptor. The LED "bulb" has 18 SMD's (don't know what it stands for but the SMD is the little square thing that emits the light) and is as bright as a 60W bulb.
An old table light from the loft provided the rest.
When I tried it out I made the mistake of looking at it as I turned it on.........
Power consumption 3Watts - should last a while on the TT battery!
