Squealing toddlers? Worse!
A lazy day. I reneged on my dog walking duties today in favour of the ironing. JR took the lad for a big walk (with hiking pole for lead training).
Archie has discovered a noise even more irritating than squealing toddlers - screeching students! Last night he started barking - the young folk upstairs were creating a din. What on earth were they doing that required lots of screeching? Fortunately it was in their kitchen, well away from bedrooms above and below them. But unfortunately for wee Archie, right above him. However, the screeching didn't last long and they all left (about 11:30) presumably to go into town to carry on disturbing everyone in the city centre.
This morning I woke at 8:30, and heard Archie banging around in the kitchen with his toys. He was waiting patiently for any sign of movement. When I went in, he had all his toys out over the kitchen floor, so he must have been playing around for a while. Well done, Arch.
This is him with one of his toys. He makes me laugh, the utter concentration on his wee hairy face. When I chortle as he quivers with excitement, or makes a move and misses, he takes his eyes off the toy and looks at me, which makes me chortle even more. We're easily pleased.
