Highgate Common

I haven't been there for a few months due to health issues, and I found it very hard work today. I tried to take a short cut from my usual route, and managed to get lost (I've been going there for over 60 years). A friend tells me he got lost there as well- very embarrassing! Mind you, the signs are not always all that helpful - I knew that I had seen one of these signs near the car park, but after following them for a while to try to get back, they disappeared. An enjoyable morning's walk though, but so short and so slow now.
