Breakfast on the Mekong

I reckon this could be the title of the next crime thriller, to rival Death on the Nile.

The plot would revolve around a holidaying conservationist who goes on a murderous rampage as he has to go back to work on Monday and leave this perfect breakfasting spot. Sure to have global audiences gripped.

The rest of the day wasn't bad either as I moved from artisanal bakery to coffee shop to café, sampling the tasty breads and cakes that the French left behind. Merci beaucoup.
