The peninsula of Luang Prabang is a UNESCO World Heritage site and it's easy to understand why when you wander around. Definitely somewhere that is wise to preserve.

A wonderful collection of colonial era architecture, traditional Lao buildings and temples around every corner, especially nice to look at in the late afternoon light.
