Surrounded By Big Bangs
< another back blip >
This is an example of what the weather forecasters mean when they say "scattered thunderstorms this afternoon."
The storms surrounded us all day long. Usually they move quickly, but today they lingered and some places got over two inches in an hour. I watched the radar on my iPad as they skirted us all day. Every now and then we were greeted with the loud roar of thunder. But it doesn't faze us. After all...it's the monsoon.
The monsoon officially ends on September 30.
Edit: A year ago today was my 1000th blip. Worth a look back!
