Emmaus

Bit of a dull photo from a jammed-packed day, but I don't want to give away any spoilers! We've been looking at venues today for both the ceremony and reception, and seen a couple of really exciting options. Most venues in Essex seem to be very similar; uninspiring hotel-type locations, but we've found some really interesting alternatives that are much more relaxed. One in particular was more than we want to spend, massively impractical, but we both absolutely loved it! Lots of thinking to do. We also finally found a new chest of drawers to replace our one that's been steadily falling apart for the past year in one of the furniture charity shops, and got some chores done in town. When we got back, it was so hot we had to get an ice cream and walk along the river, stopping for a shandy on the way back to top it all off.
