Crapshack 2

Our second day of DIY-overload was a bit more stressfull than yesterday; we had to remove the current farce of a roof, then cut and secure a new roof, then finish it off with felt. It doesn't sound much, but it took us absolutely hours. Hardly anything went right, and it was really physical work. We were all so relieved when the last felt tack went in, but I felt so guilty for roping my Mum in for such a huge task. She's so brilliant, and does so much for us. She'd even made us a blackberry crumble to take home for dessert.  It was satisfying leaving by the light of the huge moon with a slightly more water-tight shed to keep our tools safe. Sadly, we still have lots of do on it though.
