Snowy Wings

Large and magnificent it swooped across the grass, silently gliding. Fabulous to see.

With outstretched wings she appears rather ghostlike and definitely impressive; the white unmistakable plumage echoing her Arctic origins. I love the yellow piercing catlike eyes peeking out of the soft white feathers.

What a treat today to see in flight!
