Fungi

We went for a walk on the pebblebed heaths which were formed 440 million years ago. It's just like walking on a pebbly beach without the sea. We found 2 of these fungi on our walk, not sure of their ID. I thought perhaps they might be Purple Swamp brittlegill but not sure. The area is supposed to support 30 variety of butterfly so it will be interesting next year to see what I can spot.
