An Alien Encounter

Or not. Tuesday was a much anticipated visit to the Eden Project. We wandered around the outside plants and landscapes for a while before heading for the biomes – starting with the Rainforest one which was lovely and warm. There were gorgeous plants and trees all laid out along some lovely walk ways. Today’s blip was incredibly interesting as it looked like some alien to me rather than just a flower.

There was a really high platform from which you could see all around the biome but the bridge and stairs up were very wobbly which was a little bit freaky and the higher you went the hotter it got. Following that Biome we went into the Mediterranean one which was actually rather cool. They had the most amazing spread of chillies though including some of the hottest in the world.

Tuesday evening was a lazy night in with Pizza and wine
